IFK Kyokushin Arizona to Host Seminar & Black Belt Grading with Shihan Mike Monaco

USA-IFK Kyokushin will hold a special training seminar and black belt grading in Arizona from June 4–6, 2026, hosted by USA-IFK Kyokushin Arizona.
The event will be led by Shihan Mike Monaco (8th Dan), President and Founder of USA-IFK Kyokushin and one of the most senior instructors in the International Federation of Karate. Training will take place over three days and will include kihon, kata, and kumite instruction, along with a black belt grading. The seminar provides an opportunity for students and instructors from across the region to train together under Shihan Monaco’s guidance.
Training Schedule
Thursday, June 4
3:00 PM – 7:00 PM: IFK Syllabus and Renraku
Friday, June 5
3:00 PM – 7:00 PM: IFK Kata and Self-Defense
Saturday, June 6
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Fighting Strategy and Combo's
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Kumite / Training Fights / Grading
Training Fee
IFK Non-Members:
$15 per session
or $40 for the entire event
