The USA-IFK is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 34th American International Karate Championships (AIKC), one of the longest-running Kyokushin tournaments in the United States.
The tournament will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Albion High School in Albion, New York, and is open to competitors from all styles and organizations.
Hosted by Shihan Mike Monaco (8th Dan) and co-promoted by Shihan Karl Biedlingmaier (5th Dan), the AIKC has long been a tradition within the North American Kyokushin community. Now in its 34th edition, the tournament continues to welcome competitors from across the United States and Canada for a day of competition, sportsmanship, and camaraderie.
Competition divisions include:
• Knockdown Kumite
• Semi-Contact Kumite
• Open Hand Kata
• Weapons Kata
• Junior and Adult Divisions
Whether you are preparing for your first tournament or are an experienced competitor, the AIKC offers an opportunity to test your skills, gain valuable experience, and connect with fellow martial artists from a wide range of styles and organizations.
