Shihan Jerry Poe Receives IFK International Judging Certification

During the 2022 USA-IFK Summer Camp, Shihan Jerry Poe (5th Dan) was formally presented with his IFK International Judging Certification by IFK President Shihan David Pickthall (7th Dan). This year's camp was split between two locations, Gray Wolf Kyokushin in Holley, New York, and Fighting Spirit Karate in Gardiner, New York, with the presentation taking place at Shihan Sean Schenker’s dojo in Gardiner.

Shihan Poe served as a judge and referee at the 6th IFK World Championships in Valencia, Spain, in May, earlier this year. His performance at the tournament reflected the high standards of USA-IFK officiating on the international stage.

Shihan Poe serves as Chairman of the USA-IFK Officials Committee and continues to be the organization’s leading figure in tournament officiating. Whether running a ring himself or mentoring new officials, he consistently brings clarity, fairness, and professionalism to every event.
